Baby Bird Baby Shower

The shower hostess sent me the invite as inspiration for the cake. Pink and brown are my favorite "baby girl shower" color scheme, so I was pretty excited. The cake was 1/2 chocolate w. Bavarian cream filling and 1/2 white cake with chocolate chip buttercream filling. The cake was covered in dark chocolate ganache. Birds on top are marshmallow fondant.
