Sweet 16

This was a sweet 16 cake for a party where the theme was "pink and music notes". It was a dark chocolate cake with pink cherry buttercream filling. The music note topper is made from dark chocolate. Pink, chocolate and music- 3 of my favorite things, so I have a special place in my heart for this cake!

Summer cocktail cupcakes

These were cupcakes I made for a pool party last summer. (front = Mai Tai; Rum & Pineapple Cupcakes with Amaretto/Captain Morgan Frosting. Back = Margarita; Strawberry Margarita Cupcakes with Jose Quervo/Lime Frosting)

Handy Manny

When my handsome little guy turned 1, there was only one option for a cake. His favorite dancing tools from Handy Manny in his very own cake toolbox. The 1st picture is all of the tools, made from homemade fondant. The 2nd pic is the assembled cake at his party!

Wall-E

My husband loves Disney's Wall-E but doesn't really love cake. I formed this little guy out of Rice Krispie treats and Marshmallow fondant for his birthday!

Meeska Mooska, Mickey Mouse!

This was a 1st Birthday Cake based on the "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse". The cupcakes on top of the cake were used as "smash cakes" for the birthday twin boy and girl. The 2nd pic is the inside of the bottom layer. It's a "rainbow cake" technique I wanted to give a shot. I think it turned out really pretty!
